Finally, an update from Alan!
Well, Jen, the Team and myself have been working ever so hard these past months. Fundraising efforts have gone ever so well, so a huge THANK YOU to EVERYONE, who has contributed. It is really really appreciated.
After 3 years, following the DCC annihilation of funds to the Settlement in February 2023, the Charity has got back on track financially. The future is much more secure and therefore some exciting initiatives are being planned, not least of which is the eagerly awaited Youth Exchange Project with Kyrgyzstan in July/August this Summer. The young people (and families/friends) have been raising funds through the Jailbreak March 2026 event, and this has given them a sense of achievement and ownership of the Project. Well done all you people…..not forgetting the Staff and other Jailbreak Participants….and Dundee Rotary Club/Camperdown Lodge 317/Graeme Jenkins and Cycling Team….and Gift Aid!!
There is much more positivity to report….But….I sense you are fed up of read, read, reading!!
